Primary sources are raw data and original information before it has been analyzed, such as interviews, diary entries, and data sets.

Secondary sources analyze or interpret primary information. Examples of secondary sources are peer-reviewed research articles, biographies, and literary criticism.

More information and a list of databases that include primary sources are available on the library's site.
